Best Recipe for Chicken Karage
Ingredients
- 1 cup togarashi
- 1 cup potato starch
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1/4 cup minced ginger
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 large egg
- 1 pound chicken, diced
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Mix together the potato starch, togorashi, garlic, ginger, sake, soy sauce and egg in a large bowl. Add the chicken and toss to coat fully. Heat a large saucepan with about 2 inches of vegetable oil and heat over medium-high heat to about 375 degrees F. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
