Steamed Green and Wax Beans

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound combined green and wax beans, trimmed as desired
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. In a steamer set over boiling water steam the beans, covered, for 4 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender, remove the steamer basket, and in a bowl toss the beans with the butter and salt and pepper to taste.;
