Slow Cooker Mild Curry Split Black Lentils
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups split black lentils
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons curry powder, or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger root, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions
- Combine water, lentils, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, curry powder, turmeric, and ginger root in slow cooker.
