Slow-Cooker Chile Con Queso

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • One 32-ounce block processed cheese, such as Velveeta, cubed
  • One 16-ounce jar salsa
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  2. Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, 10 to 15 minutes. Add the chili powder and garlic powder and stir to combine. Add 1/4 cup water and let simmer until evaporated.
  3. Transfer the beef to a slow cooker. Stir in the cheese and salsa. Cover and let cook on high until melted, about 1 hour.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips.
