Sauteed Okra with Cumin
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 pounds okra, stems trimmed, washed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin

- Melt butter over high heat in a medium saute pan. saute okra with all seasoning 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate and cook, stirring occasionally, an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot.;
