Rice Vinegar and Sesame Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin (Japanese sweet cooking sake)
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced shallot or green onion
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Store covered in refrigerator up to 1 week.
