Pump Up the Jams

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces aged rum
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon apricot preserves
  • 2 ounces sparkling water
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the rum, lime juice, maraschino and preserves to a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice and top with the sparkling water. Stir, and garnish with mint. And a straw. And a tiny umbrella. And no shame.
