Plums in Red Wine

Ingredients

  • 1 quart plums
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup light red wine (Beaujolais is ideal)

Instructions

  1. Halve, pit and quarter the plums. Sprinkle with the sugar, add the red wine to almost cover the plums. Macerate 1 hour.
