Best Recipe for Pepper Jack, Avocado and Black Beans in a Tortilla

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces shredded pepper jack cheese (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup black beans
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 8" tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon lightly salted butter

Instructions

  1. Place shredded cheese, beans and avocado onto 1 tortilla.
  2. Place 2nd tortilla on top.
  3. Close the sandwich.
  4. Spread evenly 1/2 teaspoon of lightly salted butter onto each side of the tortilla.
  5. Grill over moderate heat for approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Garnish with sour cream and salsa.
