Peanut Butter-Banana Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup organic crunchy or smooth peanut butter
- 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin or virgin coconut oil
- 1 ripe banana, mashed, about 1/3 cup

Instructions
- Special equipment: 3-inch dog bone shaped cutter
- Position an oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Stir together the peanut butter, flour, flax seed and coconut oil in a medium bowl with a rubber spatula until well combined. It will be slightly wet and shiny.
- Roll out the mixture until 1/4-inch thick. Use a 3-inch dog bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Gather the scraps, re-roll and cut out a few more biscuits.
- Chill until the biscuits are just firm, about 15 minutes.
- Bake until the edges are golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
- Give your pup a treat and watch them enjoy. Store in an air tight container up to 5 days.
