Pan-Fried Watermelon

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small underripe watermelon, quartered and cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook watermelon slices in melted butter until browned, 5 to 7 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper to serve.
