Lean Sauce for Grilled Foods

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sherry wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup hot paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorns, slightly crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf whole
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a jar combine all of the ingredients. Use to sauce roasted, grilled or broiled meats and poultry. This is strong so use sparingly.
