Jolly Greens
Ingredients
- 4 ham hocks
- 2 yellow onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cups water
- 16 ounces chicken broth
- 12 bunches collard greens

Instructions
- Cook ham hocks, whole onions, whole garlic, bay leaf, water and broth in a large saucepan for 1 1/2 hours or until meat falls off bone. Add clean, roughly cut collard greens with stems removed. Cook uncovered for another 1 1/2 hours turning greens occasionally. Serve as side vegetable.
