• 1/2 jalapeno, seeded
• 2 ounces mezcal or tequila
• 1 ounce triple sec
• Agave nectar, to taste
• Juice of 1/2 lime
• Ice cubes, as necessary
• Spicy salt, for serving*
• Avocado wedge, for serving
