Diablo Tequila 'n' Tonic

Ingredients

  • 1 lime
  • 2 cups white tequila
  • 2 to 3 jalapeños, halved lengthwise seeded
  • 6 cups (1 1/2 quarts) tonic water

Instructions

  1. Using peeler, remove peel from lime (green part only) in strips. Combine peel, tequila and jalapeños in glass jar with tight-fitting lid. Chill overnight.
  2. Fill 8 tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour 3 tablespoons tequila and 3/4 cup tonic water into each.
