Claret Cup

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces red wine
  • 1/2 ounce sherry (preferably Amontillado) or sweet vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce orange curaçao (or triple sec if you like it sweeter)
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 2 ounces soda water
  • Cucumber slices, for garnish
  • Orange slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Stir ingredients, except soda, with ice and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with soda and garnish with cucumber and orange slices in the glass.
