Chile-Spiced Pineapple

Ingredients

  • One 8-ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 tablespoon chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Special equipment: cocktail skewers or toothpicks
  2. Skewer 3 pineapple chunks onto each cocktail skewer or toothpick and arrange on a plate.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the chile powder, cumin, salt and pepper and mix with a fork. Sprinkle onto all sides of the skewered pineapple chunks and serve.
