  • 2 1/3 cups baking mix, store-bought
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar
  • 1 cup leftover Sawmill Gravy, from Chicken Fried Steak recipe
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the baking mix, melted butter and milk until just combined, then fold in the cheese. In the meantime, warm the Sawmill Gravy in a small saucepan on the stove.
  3. To serve, split the biscuits in half and dress them with some gravy. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
