Apple Crisp with Truvia® Natural Sweetener

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 4 apples, sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Truvia® natural sweetener spoonable, plus
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Truvia® natural sweetener spoonable**
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Crisp:
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon Truvia® natural sweetener spoonable, plus
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Truvia® natural sweetener spoonable**
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Assemble all ingredients; Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place apples in a large bowl; sprinkle with water, Truvia(R) natural sweetener, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss to coat the fruit.
  3. Spray 9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray; place apple mixture in dish.
  4. In a separate small bowl, combine oats, Truvia(R) natural sweetener, second flour and cinnamon, melted butter, brown sugar and salt; stir to form crumbly mixture.
  5. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
  6. Bake 35-40 minutes until apples are tender.
